Tiny Talk

I'm sorry, my kid says funny things every day of the week! Not just Tuesdays. Maybe I should forgo Tiny Talk Tuesday and just make it an anytime kind of thing. We have a lot of potty quotes as of late.

FUNNY #1
Miles, on the potty....AGAIN.

Miles: "Mommy, I just poo poo'd"

Me: Knowing that he did not actually poo poo in the potty (he never has), I say, "Miles, are you lying to Mommy?"

Miles: After a brief moment and a confused look, Miles growled at me as if to say, "Is this what you mean?"

Me: After another brief moment of being confused myself, I realize, "Oh, he's being a LION....that's not quite what I meant."

But it was cute. Guess our next lesson is learning the difference between "lying" and "lion".

FUNNY #2
After getting down off the potty, Miles flushes the toilet and says in the most friendliest of voices,
"Bye bye pee pee, have a fun day!"

As funny as the bid farewell sounded, it was even more funny because, um, there was no pee pee to actually say good bye to. Oh well, maybe next time.

FUNNY #3
Miles loves to hear stories. And now he is starting to tell us his own stories. Usually they are a recap of something we've done recently....or a combination of many of our different activities all rolled up together in one. This one cracked me up.

Miles in the middle of one of his stories says, "and then, we go shopping. And we go to Walgreens and CVS and then we go to ANOTHER CVS...."

Yes, he actually enunciated the "ANOTHER" part, as if to insinuate that our CVS shopping is a bit obsessive. And I guess it is....he's totally got me pegged.
